\nThis status appears when you are filling up the application. Online new

\nThere are different categories in which the trademark is applied. If the
\ntrademark consists of symbol, logo or any other design, it is assigned a code
\ncalled \u201cVienna Codification\u201d and this stage is termed as \u201cSend to Vienna
\nCodification\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThis is a very important stage in which all the important formalities are
\nchecked such that it meets all the basic requirements. This stage is termed as
\n\u201cFormalities chk pass\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nAs we have already discussed what is formality chk pass status. Now if in that
\nstage if all the formalities fail to pass, then this stage is termed as \u201cformalities

\nAfter all the formality checks, the trademark is passed to the examiner. The
\nexaminer approves in according to various sections of the Trade Marks Act and\u00a0the status at this stage is termed as \u201cMarked For Exam\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nAfter checking and validation of the trademark, the examiner issues a report as\u00a0accepted and the status of this stage is known as \u201cExam report
\nissued\/accepted\u201d. This is a very crucial stage because the examiner gives his
\nfinal report on its publication in Trademark Journal.<\/p>\n
\nIf your trademark has some problems, the examiner does not accept the
\ntrademark. The examiner gives objection in a very detailed report to the user
\ninforming about each and every objection in the trademark. An on paper reply
\nis offered to trade mark registry and the status of this stage is known as
\nobjected.<\/p>\n
\nWhen a trademark application is presented in the Journal, it is given the status
\nof \u201cadvertised or Accepted and Advertised\u201d. This is a very vital status as the
\nthird party has the right to compete with it within 4 months. The trademark
\nregistration certificate is granted if there is no opposition.<\/p>\n
\nThis is a very important stage as if the opposition stage opposes the
\ntrademark, then the status of the application is termed as \u201cOpposed\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nIf there are any data entry errors in the application, the application have to be
\ncorrected and is send back to EDP for correction. Once all the errors are
\ncorrected, the entire process starts again for getting the trademark done.<\/p>\n
\nPRAS stands for \u201cPre-Registration Amendment Section\u201d. This status is given
\nwhen there are any changes in registration that require attention of the
