Manufacturers, producers, recyclers and refurbishers have distinct registration roles; producer EPR obligations should not be assigned indiscriminately to every entity.

Recyclers and refurbishers

Use the registration category for the activity actually performed and obtain applicable facility consents or permissions. Maintain records and returns for material processed. A Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other radio-enabled configuration needs a review of its operating bands, output power and India's licence-exemption conditions.
